MovieMinistry's FilmTalk™ Cards!

Different in form and function from our more formal Bible Studies, FilmTalk Cards are created to help parents, peers, or group leaders to stimulate informal after-film discussions.

Each FilmTalk Card describes particular moments in the target movie to give the group a sense of context for the questions that follow. Some sections may incorporate Scripture verses, so be sure to have your Bible handy! Each section of questions on the FilmTalk Card leads the group to examine how principles are played out in the film, and then challenges them to see the connection between the film, their faith, and their lives. Each card also contains MovieMinistry's Sermon General's Warning for the film.

FilmTalk Cards can be purchased in two ways:

By Subscription: The one-year subscription gives you full access to our entire archive of FilmTalks as well as all of the new FilmTalks we add over the year of your subscription. We have FilmTalks for films currently in theaters as well as for those available on DVD. Check the site weekly as our FilmTalk list expands. For "college and career" or youth pastors, parents, or any interested Christian who understands how film viewing permeates our culture and wants to harness the power of movies to reach out with the Gospel and explore moral and ethical issues.

Subscribe to FilmTalk™ Cards

Individually. Individual FilmTalks can be purchased for $4.95 each. For pastors and Christians who want to take advantage of a particular movie, but do not routinely use films as a ministry tool.

Gridiron Gang, 2006

What does it take to turn someone around?

Gridiron Gangs explores the distinction between controlling bad behavior and repentance, the effective power of God's Word, how to handle ourselves when we blow it, the need for unity in the Body of Christ, and the life-giving nature of asking for and granting others forgiveness.
